The Book of Mormon should be an action movie #iwouldwatchit

WHATS UPPPP Sister Gibb coming at you from the MTC IN PERSON

Okay wow what a time this has been, the longest/shortest week of my life so bear with me as I type this on my stoopid Samsung keyboard lol
Tuesday was my very last day of home MTC and it was weirddd we spent the majority of the day just packing and getting things done, and honestly I was feeling pretty nervous that day, the reality of what I was about to do was starting to hit me I guess.

Wednesday we got up and finished packing and SOMEHOW we fit all of my stuff #miracle and then we made the long drive to Provo and said goodbye, which was the WORST. It was just the parents, my sister Emma, my Brother and Sister in law Jacob and Lauren, and my best friend Miriam, because the rest of the fam bam doesn't even live here anymore #rude.

You'd think if God made me a crier he'd give me a pretty cry face but nooooo so I was whisked into the MTC with a red tomato face. But as soon as I got there I was whisked away by missionaries and my worries were forgotten because as soon as I walked in, I saw my companion Sister Smith!!!
It was awesome she's the best!

We're an unstoppable comedic duo and our district thinks we need to move to LA to do stand-up together lol #dreamjob Then we got to meet our district in person and they're even more wonderful outside of zoom, I love them all so much, I seriously lucked out with those guys, they're gonna be stellar missionaries. Then that night we had a devotional which was good, and then they let us get in touch with our families for a little bit which was awesome #tearswereshedbutImokay

Anyways, I'll do my best to remember what's happened what day because I feel like I'm in a mega time loop, it's so whacky. The food is sub-par and there's about a billion people from high school that I know here so that's a blast! I love my teachers and going to class! When I'm busy I'm happy so that's been awesome here, I'm vibing with it. I would give you like a day to day synopsis but seriously like every day is the same. But it's good!

On Saturday we got out of our evening class early to help set up for the devotional the next day, and then they let us stay up late and watch the Stadium of Fire fireworks! We had a perfect view from our classroom and we felt very patriotic #happybdayamerica and then tonight they're letting us stay up late and eat some ice cream so #yum

Sunday was so cool! It was Fast Sunday which was honestly awesome as a missionary, and church was really good! Then we got to do a mural tour as a district and then we did the Go and Do experience which essentially meant we got to study the Atonement for like 2 hours and it was AWESOME!

I love the Savior so much WOW and then that night we went to choir! I hadn't sung in a choir for like over a year and it was so cool, there were like 530 of us! Then I had the worst Fast Sunday dinner of my life, but WHATEVERRR that night we had an awesome devotional with President and Sister Porter the MTC Presidents! It was really great and the spirit was strong, it was all about miracles through the Atonement of Jesus christ and it was awesome, then we had a really good study with the district.

OKAY let's get spiritual for a second:
I LOVE THE SCRIPTURES WOW the power that comes by studying the Lord's word as a missionary is absolutely incredible! Something that was on my mind this week was how simple the gospel is, and how it's all woven together like a big beautiful tapestry! You can't believe in one aspect of it without believing in another. The love our Savior has for EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US is like, insane. No matter what we've done, no matter what we say, what we think, what we do, because of Him, we get to have another chance. How cool is that?? Anyways I love my Savior, and he loves you. :))

I love you guys so much and your prayers have blessed me so much already, I'm so thankful for you all!!
Love you all a WashingTON❣️
