Trespassing, Broken fingers, and getting jumpscared by demons #MIRALCESEVERYWHERE

Hello!!! This week was a whole rollercoaster let me tell ya haha let's get into it!

Watermelon eaten: soooo much
Times we trespassed: more than zero 😶
Riddles 4 year old Ezra had me guess: Probably 6
Missionaries at Buffalo Wild Wings: 11 lol

Mondayyy we had an awesome day at the car show and then we went and played sports as a Zone! Basically, I'm a kickball champion. Then that night for FHE we played ultimate Frisbee which was so funny haha everyone was so into it but we were sooooo bad it was hilarious.

Tuesdayyy we had a busy busy day of contacting! Was anyone home all day? NOPE but it was good because we cleaned up our records a TON! That night we had a dinner in Arlington and so before the dinner, we were trying to visit some members, and accidentally totally trespassed on someone's property. By the time we realized we should not be there, some guy named Devin came out with his beer and was like, "...you lookin for someone?" And it was hilarious. We got out of there though don't even worry. And then we went to dinner which was WILD it was with the Murray's who we had Vietnamese spring rolls with a few weeks ago, and it was hilarious. They do a giant haunted house every year and so they jumpscared us for like 20 minutes #wrongaudience so it was crazyyyy.

Wednesdayyy we had DISTRICT COUNCILLLL which was super duper! It was also Elder Leishman's 21st birthday so we went to Buffalo Wild Wings for lunch as a District! The waitress tried to give him a birthday shot but we told her we don't drink alcohol, so he took a Shirley Temple shot instead lol it was hilarious. Then we did some contacting in Everett, and knocked on this one member's door, and found out she doesn't live there anymore. BUT the woman that does is named Lori and she's the light of our lives!! She said she used to meet with missionaries in the past when she lived in Olympia and we read some scriptures together and just had a grand old time! So we'll be passing her off to the Port Gardner Sisters, but it was a total miracle!! Then we drove all the way out to Machias in Snohomish to have dinner with Elise Jones and her family!! I LOVE going there for dinner, I'm best friends with her 4 year old brother Ezra, and now I'm a riddle master. They invited their non-member friend too which was fun! It was an awesome night :)))

Thursdayyy not a super busy day, but an awesome day!! We had a lesson with our friend Daniel up in Marysville and it went SO GOOD!! We were talking to him about baptism because he's been taught sooo much, and he said he would pray about a date!!!! WOOOO please pray for Daniel!! Then we did some more contacting up there which was hilarious, Marysville is the weirdest place. Then we had our office shift and that night, we had a dinner up in Lake Goodwin! It's technically out of our Area since it's in the Mount Vernon Zone, but we got permission to go up there! And Sister Smith got to show me around her old area, Stanwood!! It was so fun, and dinner was awesome. It was with the Glunts, who Sister Smith lived with while she served there! Their son comes to our ward, so it was awesome to meet them! And they let me play their baby grand piano 🥹 it was so fun!! I'd never been that far north my whole mission and it totally felt like another world haha it was crazy! That night we went to volleyball and I jammed my finger so bad haha, but it's all better now, not black and blue anymore.

Fridayyy we had our Office shift in the morning and then we had MLC!! It was actually like the best MLC I've ever been to, we followed up on what Elder Cordón asked us to do with being exactly obedient and becoming Preach My Gospel MASTERS and it was super awesome! There have been so many miracles in the WEM lately it's been awesome. After MLC we had dinner with Devin at Olive Garden haha it was hilarious, dinner with Devin is always a wild ride. Then that night we had about 30 minutes before we had to be home, and I felt like we needed to go to knock on Ariana's door. When I was in Halls Lake, we got a member referral for this girl named Ariana. We ended up having a few lessons with her, but soon we lost contact, and the missionaries after me couldn't get in touch with her either. So, we drove to her house, and SHE WAS HOME!! It was sooo good to see her again and we shared a scripture with her, and she wants to come to the activities! It was a total miracle and the spirit totally directed us there. It was awesome.

Saturdayyy we started the day by going to an artist market in Everett that one of our members was at! She stamps sweatshirts and stuff and it's SO CUTE she stamped our bags for us which was so cute WE LOVE ANA!!! Then after that we had a lesson with Cam and Tai some of our favorite members, and Cam told us she's going to go on a mission!!! It was so exciting! Then we had our Office shift and then that night we had dinner with the Jensens! Two of their kids are in our ward and it was so fun! We found out that Sister Jensen's grandma (Kay Rolfson) was apparently best friends with my Great Grandma Ruth in Canada!! SO WILD! It was so fun haha and then we went to a lesson with our member Tristin, and then ANOTHER lesson with a recent convert, Natalie! It was a crazy day but it was so good!

Sundayyy we had Ward Council, and then Church! And our friend Aliyah came!! It was awesome. We had one of the wildest testimony meeting's I've ever been a part of haha from killing people with hairbrushes, to car accidents, to public speaking, we heard it all haha! Then we had Break the Fast which was bomb.com, and then we did some contacting, and had dinner with a bunch of the sales people in our ward! It was sooo fun and we ate some of the best lasagna I've ever had in my life #shoutouttoethansmom and then that night we had one of the best mission devotionals I've ever been on, it was great.

And today we were going to go to the Funko headquarters store in Everett but it was closed so we went and toured Boeing again!

OKAY LET'S GET SPIRITUAL
Some of you may have seen on Facebook, but this week on Tuesday night there was a set of Elders in my mission that were involved in a serious car accident. The Elder who was driving missed a stop sign and was hit by a dairy semi going about 50 mph. It basically took the entire side off of the car and threw it off the road. It was super scary for the whole Mission because we nearly lost one of our missionaries. There's no reason he (the driver) should have survived, but by some miracle he did. Not only that, but he is also making an insanely speedy recovery and is surprising everyone. As a Mission there were soooo many prayers said, and we were all fasting. It was one of those experiences that makes you reflect on how real God is. There was an outpouring of love from people on earth and from heaven in our little piece of Washington, and the blessings of fasting are REAL. When we come together in love for God and for those in our lives, miracles happen. Never take a day for granted, and remember that God and Jesus Christ are bigger than anything life hits us with, even if it's a semi.

And please please please wear your seatbelts :)))

I love you all a WashingTON ❣️
