Tuesdayyy we started the day off with a lesson with James! We taught him the Restoration and it went so good!! He's actually a baptized member but he hasn't been to church since he was a kid, so we're helping him get back into it! And he's going to have his records moved back into the ward!! Then we had an MTC meeting for Sister Pettit's training which went good, and after that, every appointment we had scheduled for the day ✨️canceled✨️ but it was okay! It gave us lots of time to contact lots and lots of people! Not a ton happened that afternoon, but it was good! That night we had dinner with the Elizondo's! They're my FAVORITE I love them :)) she's a professional opera singer and I just fan girl over her all the time lol. And then that night we went on an EXCHANGEEEEE I went to Oak Harbor with Smithy and it was SO FUN AIDHJWKDJSBDN

Wednesdayyy we had a fun exchange day!! We started with a lesson with their friend Stephanie who is CRAZY haha but she was so cool!! I love her! And then we went to TACO BELL of course. And we sat with our buddy Virginia who is there literally every day! It was a blast we love Taco Bell. We went to a service for someone the Elders are teaching and she was so funny haha we helped her put walls up in her house, it was fun going back to my interior design days 😎 after that, we went and did some Social Media work which was great, and then we went to a dinner with the Lemme's! They're the CUTEST family with soooo many kids but it was so fun. And Zella, their youngest, gave us an art class on how to draw an arctic fox, it was lit.

Then Sister Smith got an eye exam from the Lemme's dad because she couldn't see all of a sudden, and we concluded that it was just a migrane. Ah the days of Smithy's weird medical conditions came rushing back to me ❤️ then that night we re-exchanged!

Thursdayyy we had INTERVIEWS WHAAAAAAT it was so good! I went very first, and it was so good to just talk with President. This transfer has been pretty up and down, but it was nice to chat. I LOVE PRESIDENT OAKES 🫶 Then we had our mini Zone Conference!

We heard from President Lamb, our Stake President, and our STL's and ZL's, and finally, the Oakes! It was super awesome :) then we drove back to Anacortes and had a lesson with Thea!! It was soooo good and she wants to start coming to church again once she can choose her hours at work! I love her, and I love her teeny tiny puppy too :))) #iloverufus

We had a lesson with Myrna super quick which was good, she's one of our recent converts! And then we raced to dinner with Bishop and Sister Cornelius! They're so cool haha they have a FANCY house. We sat down and immediately they began to offer dating advice for when I go home #STRESS it was hilarious though haha. That night we played volleyball with some YSA members. It was so fun!!

Fridayyy was WILD wow we started by stopping by Mika's house!! And we got to give her a Book of Mormon and she was so excited!! It was awesome! Then we drove out to La Conner and helped Nancy Addison in her yard! We pulled strawberries and talked about God, and it was just so wonderful. We love Nancy :))) We did some contacting and drove back to do some weekly planning! It was wild haha but we FINALLY got it done!! That night we went to the Flores's and it was so fun as it always is. So not a ton happened but it was still a great day :)

Saturdayyy we went to the Farmers Market!! And we got to see John and Janice and our friend Carol and our friend Renee! And got some yummy stuff! We met the lady who sells kimchi, and we told her we were missionaries, and she gave us a free jar of kimchi because she loves Jesus too!! Then we went to Ann's, and she got a new roommate and they're best friends, it's so cute! And then we got to go to Kathy's! She pulled out her book of Mormon when we asked her if she'd read any of it, AND SHE READ TO FREAKING MOSIAH it was a total miracle!! She said that she felt it was true!! It was so cool. And she's going to come to church next week!! She hasn't kept her commitments the whole time I've been here, so it was super cool to see! That night we went down to Oak Harbor for Stake Conference! It was so good! And then, we got approval to sleep over at the STLs apartment! It was soooo fun!!

Sundayyy we had the general session of Stake Conference! We got to do a musical number with the youth, and heard tons of great messages! They focused a lot on finding Joy as we follow the path that leads to Jesus Christ. It was definitely something I needed to hear, and we got to see so many people!

Then we got to have lunch with the Jenson's which is always fun, I just adore them :)) after that we studied for a bit, and then went to dinner with the Hansons! They're so cute it was so fun! We got to have a lesson with Raelyn, which was sooo good, we weren't able to meet with her for FOREVER but now we have a lunch set up and lots of good things! And she's going to come to church! Pray for Raelyn! At the end of the day, we had Mission Devotional!

Today we got to THROW POTTERY YAYAYAYAY it was so fun and I've decided I'm going to save up for a pottery wheel now :) I also discovered I'm actually really good a golf! So, I hopefully will own more than 1 golf club in the near future!

OKAY LETS GET SPIRITUAL
The song we sang at Stake Conference was "Peace in Christ". Which I've heard a zillion times, but we got to have a mini choir of youth and missionaries do it! A lot of the messages given in the Conference were about how to help the rising generation develop faith in Christ first and foremost. And as we all stood up there singing about how we have experienced the joy and peace that the Savior brings, the spirit WASHED over me. Life as a young adult is wild. So much goes on, so much goes wrong, so many decisions are made. I'm so grateful that I've made the choice to follow the example of Jesus Christ as I go through this season of my life. "He gives us hope, when hope is gone. He gives us strength when we can't go on. He gives us shelter from the storms of life. When there's no peace on earth, there is peace in Christ"

I love you all a WashingTON ❣️
